Shots Fired

The whole situation is horrible.. Now new news is coming out that 3 people have died. It's just a terrible situation for everyone involved. I can't imagine how the teachers, students, parents, and administration are feeling. School shootings should never happen. No one should feel unsafe in their school and no kid should be pushed far enough over the edge that he kills people. I'd tell someone obviously if I knew something was going to happen, but I think most people ignore the signs. I would too if the only sign I saw was the boy post a weird poem on facebook. I'd probably just ignore it and move on. I think we need to learn how to be more accepting as a whole. If this happened here, I think people would lose their lives. I mean, look at our campus...it's completely open to any person walking in at any time and security is very low. I don't think there are any kids here that would, but I guess you never really know. Until bullying ends, we will always have violence, and sometimes in ends in tragedy... That being said, RIP Russell King, Demetrius Hewlin & Daniel Parmertor.

Baby, It's (Not) Cold Outside

The weather is being weird this winter. I think it happens more often than we think, though. Some winters just seem to be warmer than others. I do believe it'd be a good year for a blizzard, but I think the pattern is due to the El Nino which is a stream pattern that causes the way wind and the ocean moves and comes around every so often. I actually am counting on a mild summer with a lot of rain, cause I sure don't want another 95 degree July...
