#34 Spring Break

I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing for spring break yet. Hopefully I'm going to Universal Orlando with my grandma and cousin, but we haven't made any solid plans yet. I would also love to just sleep alllll week. I also will just be getting done with a play, so I'll be super super tired. I also am going to have to start studying for those dreaded AP exams.

#32 Standoff

I think that would be the most terrifying situation to be in and I can't imagine what would ever drive someone to kidnap a child. The bus driver that risked his life to save those kids is a hero. I think the man that kidnapped the little boy is completely insane, and based on what neighbors said about him that's probably true. Who knows why he did it - maybe he's mad about the gun debate, maybe he's mad at the government, maybe he just hates kids. Or maybe he's just insane. It sounds like the little boy is coping pretty well but I can't imagine that there aren't some kind of lingering effects from that. Hopefully the man that kidnapped him really did treat him well and make it as least terrifying as possible for him.

#31 Flying Cars

I do not believe flying cars will ever become a "common" thing for the average person but who knows. I think they sound incredibly taxing on the environment, so that's definitely a negative and a factor against their use. 100 years from now, I think travel will be entirely different. It has to change in order to save the environment and the world. Mass transit, hydroelectric/air powered/electric cars will probably be common and more people will probably walk/bike/carpool places. At least that's the hope.

#30 What's Up With The Weather

The weather has been going quite crazy this winter, with very little snow. And now, it's going between warm and freezing weekly. I think this is pretty much due to a weather pattern that comes and goes every so often. However, I do believe in global warming. I think the effects of these weather patterns are being intensified by global warming and I think it will continue to get worse until we have either no winter at all or extreme cold and blizzards.

#29

I think I have learned more about my game in the process of my demo. I think this is because you have to really make sure you get your info correct and research well. I've learned a lot more about emergency supply kits in the process and I'm beginning to learn about emergency evacuations and hurricanes. I've taken the learning process into my hands by learning new types of code by myself and drawing by myself. I can continue to improve my self-learning skills by doing this in the future.
